World's Greatest Thief ...I Mean Teacher

What would you say if the picture above was your teacher? Most teens can't picture their high school math teacher being the bad ass that they've heard about in movies, stealing money from a bank. Despite the fact that  there are no high speed chases or shoot outs with the police, the corruption in high schools is apparent, as seen in Lakota East High School, in Ohio.

The teacher who was also responsible for the prom at Lakota East High School stole the money that students were giving to her for their tickets, and left before they could get the money back. Teenagers are always butting heads with adults, especially teachers, because they are the authority that holds them back and keeps them in line. However, its funny when the teacher becomes the bad guy and the system gets tossed on its head. How are teenagers supposed to respect someone who steals money from them? What kind of person steals money from teenagers' prom?

  1. Haha this is pretty funny but if this happened at my school I'd be livid. I agree that it's hard to respect someone who doesn't treat you/show you respect. If all the prom money got stolen I know a lot of people would be upset and Nagle would hunt that teacher down and probably rip their head off.

  2. I agree with what Nicole said. I think that of all the things that people go into worrying about over prom, the last thing on anyone's mind is where their money is going after they buy a ticket. I agree that it takes a terrible person to steal from a prom, but when you think about it, it is kind of ingenious, from a thief's perspective anyway. I wonder if that's something they planned to do, or just something that happened spontaneously.
